In the Day Centre for People with Deafblindness of the DLAN Association, we once again organised a workshop on the haptic method of communication as part of the project The Language of the Deafblind as a Means of Inclusion for People with Deafblindness, financed by the Ministry of Culture. The haptic way of communication is part of the language of the deafblind and is of great importance to the deafblind community, as it enables access to information from the environment and thus contributes to the integration of people with deafblindness into the community.
We thank all participants for their involvement and for learning the language of the deafblind together. We look forward to meeting again and further advancing our learning of the haptic way of communication.
