With the members of the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, we went on a traditional event ”Pot ob žici” (Trail of Remembrance and Comradeship), where we remembered on the part of Ljubljana’s history. It is a path of memories and camaraderie, which can also be called a post-war memorial to the times when Ljubljana was surrounded by barbed wire between 1941 and 1943. It was built by the Italian occupiers, along with more than a hundred bunkers. Today, this represents the city’s recreation ring – a 32.5 km long route that enables various types of recreation throughout the year and is therefore also called Zeleni prstan – the Green Ring.
