The Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN was visited by the outstanding Paralympic athlete Dejan Fabčič, who impressed all present with his inspiring life story and sporting achievements. Dejan’s effort and dedication have led to excellent results and he has participated in four Paralympic Games in three different disciplines. At this year’s Paralympic Games in Paris, Dejan and his teammate Živa Lavrinc achieved a superb third place and won a bronze medal in archery. He told us about his journey to the Paralympic Games and the will it takes to succeed.
This unforgettable event was full of positive energy and inspiration. Dejan’s visit showed us how important it is for each one of us to persevere on our path and follow our dreams, even if there are obstacles along the way.
We would like to thank Dejan for his visit and for all his kind words. His story will stay with us for a long time and give us motivation for the challenges ahead.
