Under the expert guidance of Jernej Maučec, the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN held a creative sculpture workshop. The aim of the workshop was to encourage creativity and expression through art. Under the watchful eye of an experienced sculptor and mentor, people with deafblindness had the opportunity to explore different sculpting techniques and express their ideas and feelings through clay moulding. This allowed them to develop their creative abilities, improve their motor skills and unleash their creative potential at the same time. Such activities are also important to promote self-confidence and self-esteem and to strengthen the sense of belonging to the Deafblind Community.
