The Mental Health Festival 2025, organized for the third consecutive year by the National Institute of Public Health – NIJZ in cooperation with partners, will take place on May 23, 2025 at Tito Square in Koper.

The festival is an opportunity to explore various aspects of mental health care and the prevention of mental distress.

Festival visitors have the opportunity to explore a wide range of content in the field of mental health care, attend interactive workshops on relaxation and stress management, listen to expert lectures on current topics in the field of mental health, learn practical techniques for establishing healthy habits for an individual’s mental health and have the opportunity to speak with numerous experts in the field of mental health.

In addition, visitors can learn about the work of various institutions and non-governmental organizations working in the field of mental health in Slovenia at numerous stands. The festival will also be an excellent opportunity to connect with numerous experts, organizations, people with experience and others working in this field in the Slovenian region. 

The festival is intended for visitors of all age groups – children, adolescents, adults, students, those active in the labor market and the elderly. As in the past two years, this year’s event will also be held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar.

When visiting the festival, you can find information, discover opportunities for participation or help. Admission to the event and all lectures and workshops is free, but registration is required, as places are limited. Due to the high interest, please register as soon as possible, as many lectures and workshops have filled up quickly in the past.
