Dlanovke and Dlanovci of the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, we participated in a guided tour of the Rog Center in Ljubljana. We were taken through the modern and architecturally interesting space by our guide, Ms. Alja Fir, who presented the history of the former factory, its transition into a creative center, and the diverse opportunities that the Rog Center offers today for various communities, creators, and designers.
The tour of the various Lab spaces that the Rog Center offers was particularly interesting – including textile, woodworking, metal, and others. We learned how these spaces are intended for practical creation, learning, and collaboration, and how they provide access to modern equipment and knowledge to all interested parties.
The tour was very interesting and informative. We learned how the Rog Center is designed as an open space for creation, collaboration, and socializing, and how important it is in the development of creative practices and the inclusion of various social groups.
