At the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, we organized an educational activity focused on learning to walk with the red-white cane – a mobility and orientation aid for people with deafblindness. It is also a symbol of deafblindness.
The activity was conducted in collaboration with Timotej Skledar, who presented the correct use of the cane and techniques for navigating various obstacles in the environment.
Such activities boost the confidence of individuals with deafblindness and contribute to their greater inclusion in society.
