Dear members and appreciated participants,
the period we are currently in is different from what we were used to so far. With certainty, this period is an opportunity for us to look at ourselves, to set goals again (small and big steps), to do everything for which there has not been enough time so far…
We would like to share with you some of the glimpses, thoughts, anecdotes that some of our members have provided to us from their home environment in these particular circumstances. This is to encourage members of the association and to raise awareness among the general public about how people with deafblindness spend their quarantine days.

Mrs. Vida is grateful for DLAN magazine and the letter we sent her. She sends nice greetings to all employees and members of the Association DLAN. Many of her poems have been published in the magazine.

MRS. VIDA WRITES POEMS AND READS THE MAGAZINE DLAN

I am reading our magazine again. I read it over and over again and I am grateful for that. I am healthy and in good mood, but my hearing and sight are getting worse over the years. My fingers are hard, so I can’t write. I read the magazine with one eye and make sure my eyesight stays as long as possible so I can read at least a little. I am very proud of what we have achieved at the Association DLAN, that we have expanded with our activities. I admire how in detail you described things, so I read the magazine over and over again.
