Here are some highlights from the celebration of the European Day of the Deafblind and the 18th anniversary of DLAN, which took place on Friday, 20 October 2023, in the renovated premises of the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN.

We look back with pride and gratitude on a journey paved with ups and downs, accolades and knocks. It is the latter that make us stronger and encourage us to strive to be even better and heartier. All for the good of the Deafblind community, which is a window of hope for people with deafblindness.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU to ALL of you who support the Deafblind Community and the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN. Without key individuals, DLAN would not exist and would not be successful. Knowing that all successes are the result of cooperation and networking, we would like to thank all of you who accompany us on this journey, support us, understand us, believe in our efforts and in the well-being of people and the wider community. At the same time, we cordially invite you to continue to co-create opportunities for the deafblind community and for every individual with deafblindness.
