Secretary of The Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, Assist. dr. Simona Gerenčer Pegan, on behalf of The Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, On December 10, 2019, signed the Diversity Charter, which represents the organization’s commitment to inclusive diversity management.
Diversity, inclusion and equality have always been a source of progress and development for a fairer society. They open up a mindset that really contributes to lasting solutions. On December 10, 2019, this message was endorsed by Slovenian companies and public and non-governmental organizations with a solemn signature.
The event organized by Šentprime was held under the honorary patronage of the Principle of Equality of the Republic of Slovenia Miha Lobnik, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Slovenia.
Diversity List Slovenia is today a community of 145 Slovenian signatory organizations.
Dr. Simona Gerenčer Pegan said at the signing of the Diversity List that diversity enriches us. Carrying this wealth in your heart and living it daily is what defines us. Working with people with deafblindness is extremely diverse. Almost fifteen years ago, we made people with deafblindness on the map of Slovenia, but now we need to enable them as a society to become equal citizens. That is why we proudly bring the Diversity List into our everyday lives and strive to make us all richer.
