Today, we had a truly special opportunity – we visited the remarkable Mrs. Vida on her 99th birthday.
Mrs. Vida, a person with deafblindness, completely charmed us with her warmth, optimism, and incredible vitality. We surprised her and brightened her day, and she, in turn, showed us that age is no barrier to joy – she blew out the candle on her cake with a smile and touched all of our hearts.
Moments like these remind us how precious genuine connections and mutual bonds are.
