The Association DLAN celebrates two decades of compassion, connection, and the voice carried by touch.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Slovenian Deafblind Association DLAN, we have collected and recorded 20 remarkable stories that testify to the power of community, individual courage, and the priceless value of connection.
In the coming weeks, we will share the stories of people with deafblindness – those who live in silence and darkness, yet with hearts that reach out and touch the world. Sometimes gently, other times with strength.
Among them, you will also find stories of those who faithfully stand by their side and are invaluable to the deafblind community.
Each story will be published on Wednesdays.
Let these stories be a voice that cannot be heard, but can be deeply felt.
On World Book Day, we also announce the release of a special book that will open a window into the human experience and the beauty of connection – beyond what can be seen or heard.
