Invitation to the Public Lecture Entitled “Satisfaction and Meaning in Life”

12. 12. 2025 | Deafblind Association

Dear Sir or Madam,

We kindly invite you to a public lecture by Father Karel Gržan—priest, writer, and humanist—on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

The lecture is entitled: “Satisfaction and Meaning in Life.”

Through his lectures and books, Father Karel Gržan has been addressing people across Slovenia for many years. He is known for his humane, sincere, and deeply thoughtful words, through which he opens topics related to interpersonal relationships, the search for meaning, spirituality, and just values in contemporary society.

At the lecture, we will reflect together on what it means to be satisfied and to find meaning in life—how human values, compassion, connectedness, forgiveness, and sincerity shape a fuller and more meaningful life, even in a world that often promotes different ideals. Father Karel Gržan will speak to us with wisdom and experience—offering both hope and realism. The lecture will also be especially addressed to the deafblind community, which for twenty years has actively contributed to changing societal perspectives and to the development of a more inclusive society.
