On 18th of November 2025, we were visited by Father Bogdan Knavs, who delivered an exceptional lecture titled “Every Person Is Important and Has Their Mission.”
Father Bogdan Knavs, who has been providing spiritual support to people with deafblindness for twenty years, shared with the participants his understanding of mission as a special gift carried by each individual. Every person has something with which they can contribute to the community and build their own sense of belonging. We are all called to something, and in a way also responsible for living out our calling wherever we are.
He reinforced his reflections by sharing his own experience of developing his mission as a priest and highlighted the important role of support from family and loved ones. He placed special emphasis on the intergenerational value of passing on the values of humanity: by living one’s mission, each person becomes a role model for others, offering encouragement and courage in developing their own sources of strength — for the good not only of the individual, but of the entire community.
The participants were deeply moved by the speaker’s personal sharing of his spiritual and personal insights into life and human relationships.
