Users of the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN participated in the regular monthly celebration of the Holy Mass, which was celebrated by Father Bogdan Knavs.
In his homily, he spoke about the symbolic meaning of the Advent candles, representing the anticipation of light, peace, joy, and love. He invited the participants to use the beginning of the Advent season as an opportunity to build relationships with others, so that the Advent candles would not remain merely a symbol.
Peace and love are a reflection of the good deeds we perform, and the fruits of these deeds are felt both by ourselves and by the people around us. Love is an active effort to do good.
