At the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, together with our users, we strive to develop various tactile learning materials that help deafblind people acquire and further develop knowledge and skills.
This involves continuous exploration of the needs of deafblind people – through direct contact with them and in different life situations. It is precisely the experience of working together that most clearly shows how and where an individual needs support and empowerment.
With the help of tactile learning aids, we can explore a wide variety of topics. For example, during planned travel lectures we create tactile maps through which our users discover interesting parts of the world in a way that is accessible to them.
Travel is a multi-layered experience – and you do not have to go far to discover something new about yourself and the world.
