At the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, the professional team strives in various ways to support persons with deafblindness. Every individual wants to feel that they can contribute to the community and that their work and life have meaning.
Despite her simultaneous vision and hearing impairments, Darinka maintains hope in life by participating every year in the Slovenian Nativity Scene Exhibition with international participation, held at Sveta Gora. This year was no exception. With her nativity scene, she impressed Father Bogdan Knavs, the parish priest of Sveta Gora, who received it with joy and gratitude.
