At the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, within the project The Language of the Deafblind as a Means of Inclusion of People with Deafblindness, funded by the Ministry of Culture, we organized a workshop on learning Braille, led by Timotej Skledar. People with deafblindness explored and practiced reading Braille lines, learned letters written in Braille, and developed and reinforced their ability to recognize Braille symbols.
The skills and knowledge gained will assist the deafblind in communication in the future.
