At the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, we organized a workshop on learning Braille as part of the project The Language of the Deafblind as a Means of Inclusion for People with Deafblindness, funded by the Ministry of Culture. The workshop was led by Timotej Skledar. The ones with deafblindness had the opportunity to practice reading a Braille display, to learn letters written in Braille, and to develop and strengthen their ability to recognize Braille characters.
Through the workshop, participants gained practical skills and knowledge that will further support them in their everyday lives.
We thank Timotej for his cooperation and look forward to our next meeting.
