Olga is a modest yet remarkably creative lady who dedicates her free time to crafting beautiful works of art from paper. Her creations bring joy to many, and it is in this joy that Olga finds her purpose.
“This is my purpose in life,” she says. And it is within the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN that she has truly found this purpose.
By her side stands her husband Franc — loyal, devoted, and kind-hearted. He is not only her support but also her creative partner. Together, they work in perfect harmony, with patience and precision.
They begin by carefully cutting colorful paper into tiny, thin strips, which they gently roll and thoughtfully glue onto a base. Every movement, every piece of paper carries a part of their connection, which is why their artworks radiate warmth and a shared spirit.
During the 20th anniversary celebration of the DLAN Association, we had a special honor — we received their handmade gifts, filled with dedication and imagination.
Our sincere thanks go to Mrs. Olga and Mr. Franc for their thoughtfulness, effort, and precision. We appreciate every detail and admire their creativity.
We wish them both many more moments of inspiration, color, and creative energy.
