The Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN recently organized another workshop on the haptic way of communication, which is an essential part of the language used by people with deafblindness.
Strengthening this way of communication is crucial for overcoming communication barriers and for better orientation in the environment a person with deafblindness is navigating.
Through haptic way of communication, individuals with deafblindness can build a more complete understanding of their surroundings, while also supporting their cognitive development and strengthening their social skills.
