NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATION AT THE DEAFBLIND ASSOCIATION OF SLOVENIA DLAN

At the DLAN Association we celebrated New Year’s Eve together and said goodbye to the old year. We organised a festive get-together, with a varied programme by the members of the association. The New Year’s Eve celebration was opened with an introductory presentation of interesting facts about the New Year’s Eve, singing songs and a welcoming speech by the President of the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, Ms. Helena Petrovčič. This was followed by performances by the members – Ms. Darinka danced a belly dance, Anton Polutnik – DLANton prepared and performed a witty game and Mr. Vinko shared a beautiful thought with all present. We were also visited by Santa Claus who brought nice presents for everyone. We danced together and wished each other all the best for the coming year.
