At the Deafblind Association of Slovenia DLAN, together with people with deafblindness, personal assistants, and the professional team, we strengthened the haptic way of communication within the project The Language of the Deafblind as a Means of Inclusion of People with Deafblindness, funded by the Ministry of Culture. The haptic way of communication is part of the language of the deafblind and is of exceptional importance to the deafblind community, as it enables broader access to information from the environment and thus better integration into it.
Thank you all for your active participation and for the shared learning of the language of the deafblind.
