The Association of the Deafblind of Slovenia DLAN was delighted to once again participate in the 23rd nationwide LUPA Festival of Non-Governmental Organizations. This event is an opportunity to raise awareness and promote the work of NGOs in Slovenia, which play a very important role in providing support to people in various fields and life situations.
At DLAN, we are aware of the importance of raising public awareness about deafblindness, which is why we are glad to have had the opportunity to attend the festival and, in this way, present both deafblindness and the Association DLAN to a wider public. We believe that every personal encounter helps break down prejudices and build bridges between people.
We extend our gratitude to the festival organizers and to all the participants who showed interest in deafblind people and the Association of the Deafblind of Slovenia DLAN, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary.
