Every Person Matters and Has Their Own Mission
Lecture by Father Bogdan Knavs
We kindly invite you to join us on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, at 3:00 p.m., for a lecture by Father Bogdan Knavs, an extraordinary person and a long-time spiritual companion and supporter of people with deafblindness and the deafblind community.
His lecture is entitled:
“Every Person Matters and Has Their Own Mission.”
Drawing on his many years of experience in spiritual service, as well as his close relationship and work with people—both within the wider community and with individuals who have a combined hearing and vision impairment—Father Bogdan will speak about the mission that each person carries within our society.
For twenty years, Father Bogdan has been offering continuous and selfless spiritual support to people with deafblindness and has been providing religious services at the DLAN Association, where interpretation into the language of the deafblind is ensured. This enables equal participation in Mass and in receiving the sacraments. Such accessibility is of great importance and is invaluable to people with deafblindness, for which the deafblind community is deeply grateful.
