Dear members and appreciated participants,
the period we are currently in is different from what we were used to so far. With certainty, this period is an opportunity for us to look at ourselves, to set goals again (small and big steps), to do everything for which there has not been enough time so far…
We would like to share with you some of the glimpses, thoughts, anecdotes that some of our members have provided to us from their home environment in these particular circumstances. This is to encourage members of the association and to raise awareness among the general public about how people with deafblindness spend their quarantine days.

Anja’s mom Andreja told us what they like to do together at home.

Anja is creative and active.

Like everyone else, Anja and her brother miss the established routine very much. Anja does a lot of creative hand work, calculates, does art products from the small pieces of paper (color Styrofoam eggs), solves tasks, sews a doll out of a cloth… They are outside a lot, going for a walk or riding their bikes.

Anja and  her mom made the biggest landmark in Borovnica, the remains of the Borovnica Viaduct, made of small pieces of paper.  One more art product made of small pieces of paper is still emerging, butterfly.
